Boandik is a leading provider of aged care services in the South East of South Australia with the head office based in Mount Gambier. We provide personalised services to all clients to enable them to maintain their independence and involvement in the community.

You have the opportunity to join a cohesive team in this new role to the organisation. This full-time position will be responsible for effective and efficient leadership of the residential aged care services operated by Boandik.

Responsibilities will include:-

  • Work collaboratively with management team to ensure a high quality service that allows residents to live as they choose.
  • Drive continuous improvement in all residential services.
  • Research and plan growth and innovation in residential services.
  • Ensure effective financial management of the residential services.
  • Oversee and monitor staff, ensuring quality training programs.
  • Together with the chief executive officer, chief operating officer and executive community manager form a cohesive executive team for the whole of Boandik.

We are seeking a person who has:-

  • Strong experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in nursing or allied health.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and build the capabilities of a diverse team.
  • Experience in financial management and budgeting.
  • Empathy and understanding for the individual.

Residential Manager

An exciting opportunity exists for a registered nurse to join the Boandik team in the position of Residential Manager at the Lake Terrace site. Our care model focuses on abilities, promoting well-being and encouraging independence, choice and decision making to clients throughout the Boandik community.

You have the opportunity to join a cohesive team in this new role to the organisation. This full time position is responsible for effective management of the Lake Terrace residential services.

Responsibilities will include:-

  • Work collaboratively with staff to ensure a high quality service that allows residents to live as they choose
  • Overall management and coordination of Boandik Lake Terrace residential services
  • Ensure sufficient qualified and experienced staff
  • Maintain an effective continuous improvement system
  • Monitor financial performance
  • Ensure sufficient and fit for purpose physical resources

We are seeking a person who has:-

  • Registered nurse with at least 3 years practical experience
  • Previous experience in aged care administration
  • Empathy and understanding for the individual
  • Sound knowledge of information technology
